Stonycreek Builders Supply has been a staple of the community since 1954, when it was established by a local contractor under the name, Shanksville Builders Supply. Several transfers of ownership and a name change later, the business was purchased by Lacey Carter in 2017. She originally started working at the store in 2007 and over the years has become the town's go-to handy-ma'am for all contracting and community hardware needs. Today we continue to grow the business, adapting to the ways we can best supply our customers while always retaining old-fashioned service. The store remains located in the original building in Shanksville, conveniently near Indian Lake and Lake Stonycreek, serving both town locals and folks from the surrounding areas. Our goal is to supply the residents of the central Somerset County, PA region, including Friedens, Stoystown, Central City, Berlin, Schellsburg, and more, with quality products and an exceptional hardware store experience.
